INNOVATION EXPO September 2015
GNRBA initiated the Southern Rangelands Innovation Expo series, and hosted the first one in September 2015 at Hampton Hill Station Kalgoorlie
Others were then held at
- Mt Magnet (hosted by the Meekatharra Rangelands Biosecurity Association)
- Gascoyne Junction (hosted by the Carnarvon Rangelands Biosecurity Association)
Topics included:
- Market trends for red meat
- Production systems and alliances for the right animals and the right markets
- Wild dog control
- Fencing technology
- Rangelands Self Herding
- Unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs/drones) and other technologies
- Including examples from innovative pastoralists.
