2024 AGM and FIELD DAY

AGM

The 2024 GNRBA AGM was held on the 30th of October at the Goldfields Function Centre in Kalgoorlie. The day started of with the Committee of Management running throught the agenda for the year, containing the Chairman, Treasurer and CEO report. All positions were declaired vacant and the Committee for 2025 was established: David McQuie (Chair), Carol Hodshon (Vice Chair), Justin Stevens (Treasurer), Trevor Schutz, Brett Day and new committee members Cindy Lee Miller, Maddison Jones and Nicholas Forrester.

After the AGM was conducted the rest of the day was filled with a full program of speakers.

The evening program included a lovely dinner, sponsored by Waratah and Elders Midland, provided by the ladies of the Goldfields Function Centre, followed by an auction for the Royal Flying Doctors with as big ticket item a bull from Munda Reds. The total amount raise was $15,150.

MOUNT VETTERS

Day two was off to an early start again with the traditional Elders Esperance Breakfast. Followed by in field demonstrations by Dr. Narelle Dybing (Murdoch University), for her research into the wild dog population, Dr. Enoch Bergman from Swans Veterinary Practice demonstrated a variety of procedures on cattle herds, Jim Addison talked about trap yard set up, Richard Marver from Contour Consulting showed examples of drone work. Solar Water Pumps and Waratah showed off their latest products. All in all a great day to learn, catch up and talk about all things pastoral.
