2026 DPLH Information Day
Pastoral leases
As a follow up to the DPLH Day in June last year, GNRBA organised another information session with DPLH about the changes to pastoral leases. Nicholas Breadsell and Karel Eringa from DPLH reported back about the concerns that where raised last session and explained what was done with our feedback. Pastoralists once again had the opportunity to take all their questions and concerns up with the panel.

Emma Moss from Regenco updated us on the developments in the field of carbon credits and talked about a voluntary accreditation for pastoral lease holders. Dan Hanish from Regenco presented about the potential of Natural Capital.

At the end of the day, pastoralists gathered and discussed the pros and cons of a voluntary accreditation for our pastoral leases. The consensus was that it is definitely worth exploring further. So watch this space!
